Birthday Fun!!!

July 3rd was my precious nephew's first birthday. My brother is a single daddy, and he asked me to help him plan the party. Of course I was SUPER excited! We decided to do a monkey theme, so I made these invitations (the big brown blob isn't actually on the invite, but I didn't want everyone to see details of where we're at)I made a "vine" across the top that the wooden monkey swings on:



Here are the monkey cupcakes, which were a HUGE hit!



These are the favor bags we did. I just painted his initial on the front, and they had monkey cups, bubbles, monkey tattoos, and coloring books/crayons inside:



We had the party at a local park, so there was plenty of room to play for the kiddos that came. Here are some pics from the day.





Everyone had a really good time, and Aiden stocked up on toys, clothes, and lots of other goodies! I absolutely can't WAIT to be able to plan birthday parties for our little ones one of these days, but until then, this is super fun! :-)
